COLLEGE DAY CELEBRATION

 

College Day Celebration on 29th March 2023, was a joyful and colorful event titled " രോമാഞ്ചം2023". Students and teachers came together to celebrate with cultural performances and fun activities, making it a memorable day filled with happiness and togetherness.

"THE ELEPHANT WHISPERERS" DOCUMENTARY PRESENTATION

 

The Synergy Science Club of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Kuttoor organized an engaging event titled Drops of Love along with a documentary presentation of The Elephant Whisperers on March 24 at 1:45 PM. The event was held in the college auditorium and witnessed enthusiastic participation from teacher trainees and faculty members. The session aimed to promote compassion, environmental awareness, and a sense of responsibility towards nature. The documentary The Elephant Whisperers, which beautifully portrays the bond between humans and animals, captivated the audience and sparked thoughtful reflections. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity and appreciation, and the initiative successfully encouraged discussions on empathy, care for wildlife, and the importance of harmonious living with nature. The event left a lasting impression on all attendees, highlighting the role of educators in nurturing values of love and respect for the environment.

The Nature Club of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Kuttoor conducted a meaningful environmental activity under the title "കിളികൾക്ക് തണൽക്കൂടം" (Shelter for Birds). As part of this initiative, students actively participated in placing clay pots filled with water on tree branches within the campus. The aim was to provide drinking water and resting spots for birds during the summer heat. The activity emphasized the importance of compassion for living beings and environmental responsibility. It was a collaborative effort where students worked together tying the pots securely and ensuring they were accessible and safe for birds.

Jaybees Training College of BEd is organizing an exciting educational tour titled Let’s Go Safari exclusively for second-year students, scheduled from March 10 to 14. The trip promises a memorable blend of learning, adventure, and fun as students travel through the scenic destinations of Kodaikanal, Ramakkalmedu, and Wonderla. In Kodaikanal, they will enjoy the serene beauty of nature, including a peaceful walk through the pine forests and a visit to local grape farms. Ramakkalmedu offers a unique cultural and adventurous experience with the iconic Kuravan and Kurathi statues and an exhilarating off-road jeep safari. The tour concludes at Wonderla, where students can unwind and enjoy a variety of thrilling rides and entertainment. This trip is designed to provide not only relaxation and enjoyment but also an opportunity for bonding and experiential learning beyond the classroom.

EXCURSION

 

On 10th March 2023, an excursion was organized by Jaybees Training College of B.Ed for the first-year students. The trip covered major attractions in Kannur district, including Muzhappilangad Beach, Kunjalimarakkar Museum, Thalassery Fort, and the Craft Village. The purpose of the excursion was to provide students with a recreational break along with opportunities for experiential learning. The students enjoyed the natural beauty, explored historical sites, and gained insights into Kerala’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. The trip was both enjoyable and educational, offering a memorable and meaningful experience beyond the classroom.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

 

 International Women's Day on March 8, highlighting a series of engaging events dedicated to women. The celebration includes “Let’s Talk,” a dedicated space for women to express themselves and share their voices, and an inspiring exhibition titled “Be the Change,” aiming to showcase stories and ideas that promote empowerment and transformation. As part of the festivities, there will also be a special movie screening of the Malayalam film ‘Ntikkakkakkoru Premondarnn’, bringing a touch of entertainment and reflection to the occasion. The overall theme centers around honoring women, fostering dialogue, and encouraging change in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
