George Eliot Birthday Celebration

 The English Department of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed celebrated the birthday of George Eliot on November 22 with a special literary programme organized in the college premises.

Children’s Day Celebration at Parakkadav Anganwadi, Kuttoor 

On November 14, 2024, students from Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Kuttoor, organized a vibrant Children’s Day celebration at Parakkadav Anganwadi. The event was filled with joy and excitement as young children participated in various activities.

The program started with the students making handmade paper caps and distributing them to the children, bringing smiles to their faces. This was followed by a series of engaging activities, including dance performances, songs, and fun games that kept the children entertained.

Towards the end of the event, sweets were distributed to all the children, making the day even more special. The celebration provided a memorable and interactive experience, making children's day special and enjoyable for everyone involved.

The Inter house Chess Competition 2024-25 was successfully held on 11th November 2024 at the Jaybees Training College of B.Ed. auditorium. The event showcased students' strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, fostering a competitive yet sportsmanlike atmosphere.

Participants from various departments competed in intense matches, demonstrating their skills and tactical acumen. After a series of engaging rounds, the winners were declared:

1st Place: Amalnath P.P. (English Department)

2nd Place: Ajay V. (Mathematics Department)

3rd Place: Aiswarya M. (Physical Science Department)

The competition was well-received, encouraging intellectual engagement and camaraderie among students. Future editions could include additional categories or workshops to enhance participation and excitement. Overall, the event was a great success and a valuable addition to the college’s academic and extracurricular activities.

The event "Festin O Beats" is a cultural day celebration organized by Jaybees Training College of B.Ed.  The program was conducted on October 29 and November 7 at the college auditorium. The event aimed to showcase cultural performances, providing students with a platform to express their talents in music, dance, and other artistic activities.

SEAS ORIENTATION CAMP

The SEAS Orientation Program was conducted at Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Kuttoor on 26th October 2024, in the college auditorium. The orientation aimed to familiarize student-teachers with the objectives and procedures of the State Education Achievement Survey, an initiative to assess learning outcomes in schools.

This experience provided the student-teachers with valuable exposure to real-time school assessment environments and enhanced their understanding of educational evaluation methods.

Birthday Celebration of Oscar Wilde

The English Department of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed celebrated the birthday of Oscar Wilde on October 16 with a special programme held at the college.

Field Trip (Coorg)

 

The first-year students of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed., Kuttoor, had a memorable field trip to Coorg on September 27, 2024. The journey was a perfect blend of learning and exploration, offering students an opportunity to experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of the region.

The group also explored the lush green landscapes of Coorg, enjoying the misty hills and refreshing climate. The trip provided a great opportunity for students to bond with their peers while gaining insights into the history and cultural significance of the region.

Overall, the field trip was a refreshing and educational experience, offering students a much-needed break from academics while enhancing their understanding of nature and heritage. The memories made during this journey will surely stay with them for a long time.

Jaybees onam celebration

Date: September 12, 2024 (Thursday)

Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Kuttoor, is set to celebrate Onam with great enthusiasm on September 12, 2024. The event will feature traditional Kerala festivities, including Pookalam (floral rangoli), Thiruvathira dance, Onam Sadhya (feast), cultural performances, and fun games that reflect the spirit of Onam.

Students and faculty will participate in various activities, showcasing Kerala’s rich heritage and unity. The event aims to foster team spirit, cultural appreciation, and joy among the B.Ed. students and staff. The celebrations will create a vibrant atmosphere, bringing together the essence of Onam through traditional and entertaining programs.

PHYSICAL SCIENCE CLUB INAUGURATION

 The inauguration of the Physical Science Club was held on September 10th with great enthusiasm. The club was named "Physica Innovators". The official logo was unveiled by Jothi Miss during the ceremony. Following that, the club calendar titled "Astralis" was released, outlining the planned activities for the year.

After the formal session, several fun and engaging competitions were conducted, including Riddles, Finding Science Words, and Treasure Hunt. Each department actively participated and emerged victorious in various events.

These activities helped enhance scientific thinking among students and promoted teamwork and collaboration.

The Independence Day celebration at Jaybees Training College of B.Ed. was a vibrant and patriotic event held on August 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium. The program began with the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing national pride and unity. The event was inaugurated with a welcome speech by Anju Abraham, followed by the presidential address by the principal, Dr. Jothi M.P.V., who emphasized the importance of independence and the role of educators in shaping the nation’s future.

The chief guest, Mrs. Rajani Mohan, Payyannur Block Development Standing Committee Chairperson, shared her insights on the values of freedom and responsibility, inspiring the attendees. 

The event concluded on a high note, with a sense of unity and national pride resonating among everyone present.
