ARTS AND DRAMA WORKSHOP






 
An enriching two-day Art and Drama Workshop was conducted on the 19th and 20th of March 2024 at Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Krishnagiri Campus, Kuttoor. The session was led by Mr. Ajayakumar AV, Secretary of the Kerala Folklore Akademi, Chirakkal, Kannur. The workshop aimed to enhance the creative and dramatic skills of B.Ed. trainees, fostering their ability to integrate expressive art forms into teaching. On the first day, students actively engaged in poster-making and visual storytelling activities, collaborating in groups to design thought-provoking displays. The sessions provided valuable insights into the role of art in communication and education. The second day was filled with vibrant performances, where trainees took part in drama enactments, skits, role plays, and mime acts that depicted various social themes and emotional expressions. The workshop created a dynamic platform for experiential learning, encouraging participants to explore the power of drama as a pedagogical tool. The presence and guidance of Mr. Ajayakumar AV added depth to the sessions, inspiring students to approach teaching with creativity and confidence. Overall, the workshop was a memorable and impactful experience, blending fun, learning, and artistic exploration.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION


The International Women’s Day 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Jaybees Training College of B.Ed., Kuttoor under the theme “Inspire Inclusion.” The event, held in the college auditorium at 10:15 AM, brought together students and faculty in a vibrant celebration of womanhood, empowerment, and unity. The venue was beautifully decorated with creative artwork and symbolic representations honoring women, including a striking hand-painted banner and chalk sketches that reflected the spirit of the day. The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities, including a spirited arm wrestling contest that added energy and excitement to the program. A highlight of the event was a talent show and fashion walk, where participants confidently presented themselves and competed for titles such as “Miss Women’s Day.” The program fostered an inclusive environment where everyone participated wholeheartedly, reflecting mutual respect and celebration of individuality. The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind a strong message of inclusion, strength, and solidarity among women and their supporters.
