Industrial Visit

 

Industrial Visit: 

The students and faculty of Commerce Department from Jaybees Training College of B.Ed, Krishnagiri Campus, Kuttoor (affiliated with Kannur University) in collaboration with IQAC organized an Industrial Visit on 27th March 2025.

The visit included:

Janatha Milk Plant, Vellur – to explore dairy processing and production techniques.

Mallar Oil Mill, Edat – to learn about oil extraction and manufacturing processes.

The visit aimed to provide practical exposure and industry insights to enhance the participants' knowledge.

Robert Frost' Birthday Celebration - Poem writing competition.

      Department of English, Jaybees Training College of B Ed., Krishnagiri Campus,Kuttoor(Affiliated to Kannur University) in collaboration in IQAC organized a Celebration of birth day of Robert  Frost by conducting a 'Poem Writing' competition for the students. 

       The program was successful with the participation of students on the competition and the presence of the faculties in the prize distribution ceremony. And the program helped to make the students to acquaint with the contribution of Robert Frost to the world literature.

Event: World Consumer Rights Day Celebration

Venue: College Auditorium

Program Highlights:

1. Welcome Speech: Akhila K V delivered the welcome speech, marking the commencement of the event.
2. Presidential Address: Gowri Krishna emphasized the importance of consumer rights, raising awareness about consumer protection.
3. Inauguration: The event was officially inaugurated by Dr. Vijayakumar M V, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, who highlighted the significance of empowering consumers through education and awareness.
4. Vote of Thanks: K M Devika concluded the formal session by expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, and organizers.

Additional Activities:

• Poster Making Competition: Held at 12:30 PM, this competition encouraged creative expression of consumer rights themes.
• Workshop on "How to Suit": Provided practical insights into legal procedures and consumer grievance redressal mechanisms.

Outcome:
The event successfully raised awareness about consumer rights, equipping students with knowledge on how to protect themselves as consumers and take legal action when necessary. The interactive workshop and creative competition enhanced the participants' understanding and engagement.
