The Department of Physical Science at Jaybees Training College of B.Ed., Kuttoor, organized a meaningful observance of Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day on August 6, 2022, at the college auditorium. The event aimed to remember the tragic atomic bombings and to promote a strong message of peace.
Students took part in a candlelight ceremony, silently paying tribute to the lives lost and reflecting on the devastating impact of nuclear warfare. Alongside the tribute, students engaged in poster-making activities, expressing powerful anti-war messages.
The program not only served as a memorial but also inspired a sense of responsibility among the participants to stand for peace and oppose violence in all forms. The message “Let us remember and work together for a peaceful future” echoed through the event, reinforcing the commitment of the college community to fostering a more compassionate world.
