MATHEMATICS CLUB


 Today we inaugurated our Mathematics club,

"MATHNASIUM ".

The inauguration ceremony of the MATHNASIUM Maths Club, took place on January 28, 2025, at the Jaybees college of BEd Kuttoor. The primary objective of the new club, "MATHNASIUM," is to "Encourage children to develop mental math abilities, number sense, and problem-solving skills." 

The inauguration program featured a comprehensive schedule with key participants. The event commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Sreethu M, followed by the presidential address given by Arya K. The club officially inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. Jothi M P V.

Jishma K P, an Assistant Professor in the Physical Science Department, offered a felicitation. The ceremony  concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Neenu Mathew

National Tourism Day Celebration

 


The Commerce Department of Jaybees Training College of B.Ed. successfully organized an E-Poster Making Competition on 25th January 2025 in celebration of Tourism Day. The event aimed to encourage creativity and awareness about the significance of tourism in economic growth. 


Students enthusiastically participated, showcasing innovative digital posters on topics “Digital Marketing in Tourism.” The competition fostered artistic expression and digital skills among students. Winners were awarded certificates, and faculty members appreciated the participants’ efforts. The event was a great success, inspiring students to explore tourism’s role in global development.

Inter house Annual Athletic Meet 2025





 

The Annual Athletic Meet 2025 is a grand celebration of sportsmanship, determination, and teamwork. Scheduled for 24th January 2025, the event brings together athletes, students, faculty members, and esteemed guests to witness and participate in a series of competitive and recreational sports activities.

The meet begins with a formal opening ceremony, where teams assemble for the March Past, showcasing discipline and unity. The prayer session, led by the school choir, sets the tone for the event, followed by a welcome address by the Student Union Chairman, Ms. Pooja Sudhakaran. The presidential address by Dr. Jothi MPV, Principal of Jaybees Training College, highlights the importance of sports in education and personal growth.

The chief guest, Mr. Vinod C P, a Retired Honorary Captain, officially declares the Athletic Meet open, followed by the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing the spirit of competition and unity. The oath-taking ceremony, led by Sports Captain Goutham Pramod KV, reinforces the commitment to fair play and sportsmanship among participants.

Once the formalities conclude, the real excitement begins with a range of track and field events designed to test speed, endurance, strength, and agility. Athletes compete in races such as sprints, relays, and long-distance runs, along with field events like long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus throw. These competitions allow students to display their athletic skills while fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

Throughout the day, the audience witnesses thrilling performances, nail-biting finishes, and remarkable sportsmanship. Faculty members and guests cheer for the participants, motivating them to give their best performances. The energy and enthusiasm are further elevated by special performances, including a Wellness Dance as part of the variety entertainment segment.

The meet also includes team-based events, such as relay races and group challenges, where teamwork and coordination play a crucial role in achieving victory. Special events may also be organized for teachers and staff, promoting inclusivity and fun engagement.

As the competition draws to a close, the winners are honored in a felicitation ceremony, where Dr. MV Vijayakumar, an Assistant Professor in Mathematics, acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the participants. The event concludes with a vote of thanks by Sports Captain Goutham Pramod KV, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, athletes, and organizers for making the event a grand success.

The Annual Athletic Meet 2025serves as a platform for students to excel in sports, develop leadership qualities, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for fitness and teamwork. It is not just about winning but about learning, pushing limits, and celebrating the joy of participation.

 The Annual Sports Meet 2025-26 Opening Ceremony is set to take place on 24th January 2025 (Friday) and will begin with the lineup of teams for the March Past, a moment that reflects discipline, coordination, and team spirit. Once all teams are in position, the March Past will commence, officially marking the start of the grand event.


The ceremony will begin with a prayer led by the school choir, setting a positive and encouraging tone for the day. Following the prayer, Ms. Pooja Sudhakaran, Chairman of the Student Union, will deliver the welcome address, extending greetings to the esteemed guests, faculty members, students, and participants.

Dr. Jothi MPV, the Principal of Jaybees Training College, will then take the stage for the presidential address, emphasizing the role of sports in education, personal growth, and overall well-being.

Adding an artistic and cultural touch to the ceremony, a Wellness Dance performance will entertain and inspire the audience.

To conclude the opening ceremony, Goutham Pramod KV, the Sports Captain, will deliver the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, students, and organizers for their presence and contributions to the event.
